XTC New Energy Materials and France's Orano have jointly established Neomat.

On December 9, 2024, XTC New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. and Orano Group officially announced the establishment of their joint venture, Neomat, in Paris. The new company will focus on the production of cathode active materials and precursors for lithium-ion batteries, with operations based in Dunkirk, France.
Neomat symbolizes a strategic partnership between China and Europe in advancing sustainable battery materials and supporting global carbon neutrality goals.
